Wally is a famous "emotional support alligator" owned by Joie Henney, A Pennsylvania man who made the news when he and his pet were denied entrance to watch the Philadelphia Phillies take on the Pittsburgh Pirates in Major League Baseball in September 2023. He was also used as a visual reference for the alligator in the tv series Loki,
Links of the alligator in action.
A few weeks back it went missing.
From the post on /r/marvelstudios.
As a lot of you may know, the visual reference for Alligator Loki was Wally The Emotional Support Alligator! He is a very beloved companion to his owner, and has had a tremendous impact on the lives of so many!!
Unfortunately, Wally was kidnapped from his enclosure while on vacation with his person in Georgia. It is believed that an individual broke into his enclosure, kidnapped Wally, and placed him on another persons front yard. That person then called to report an alligator and a tracker was dispatched to remove it. The tracker stated he released Wally into a swamp with over 20 other alligators and said there was โlittle to no hope of finding Wallyโ. This is devastating and obviously extremely worrisome as Wally is domesticated and often enjoys Cheetos as part of his meals.
The tracker has been reluctant to provide additional information and seemingly has changed their story a few times. This is all really devastating for his owner and lifelong companion, Joie. It also is certainly traumatizing for Wally, who is now has had everything he's ever known ripped away from him. Both Wally and Joie deserve to be reunited!!!
I am posting here in hopes of bringing more attention to Wally's plight. The hope is that Wally's story will gain traction and put pressure on this involved to come forward and tell the truth!!!
For more information, please check out Wally's Facebook page or his TikTok account!!! There have been some outlets covering the story, but nothing that has driven the perpetrator, tracker, or Georgia DNR to be responsive or helpful in this dire search. If you are willing, please take a moment to spread the word or head over to Wally's Facebook page to help get involved! Thank you so much!!!!
According to this comment, Wally is Dead and the culprit is most likely the tracker himself.

That's because you're not focusing on the actually important complaints. The devs have said over and over that they would not have a historical figure as a main character out of respect. It is not a coincidence that the character to buck this trend is the one black man on the entire archipelago. (10)

The guy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geoffrey_Hinton
Geoffrey Hinton is a British-Canadian computer scientist and cognitive psychologist, most noted for his work on artificial neural networks. From 2013 to 2023, he divided his time working for Google (Google Brain) and the University of Toronto, before publicly announcing his departure from Google in May 2023, citing concerns about the risks of artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
We'll need universal basic income - AI 'godfather'
The computer scientist regarded as the โgodfather of artificial intelligenceโ says the government will have to establish a universal basic income to deal with the impact of AI on inequality.
Professor Geoffrey Hinton told BBC Newsnight that a benefits reform giving fixed amounts of cash to every citizen would be needed because he was โvery worried about AI taking lots of mundane jobsโ.
โI was consulted by people in Downing Street and I advised them that universal basic income was a good idea,โ he said.
He said while he felt AI would increase productivity and wealth, the money would go to the rich โand not the people whose jobs get lost and that's going to be very bad for societyโ.
Professor Hinton is the pioneer of neural networks, which form the theoretical basis of the current explosion in artificial intelligence.
Until last year he worked at Google, but left the tech giant so he could talk more freely about the dangers from unregulated AI.
The concept of a universal basic income amounts to the government paying all individuals a set salary regardless of their means.
Critics say it would be extremely costly and divert funding away from public services, while not necessarily helping to alleviate poverty.
A government spokesman said there were "no plans to introduce a universal basic income".

Professor Hinton reiterated his concern that there were human extinction-level threats emerging.
Developments over the last year showed governments were unwilling to rein in military use of AI, he said, while the competition to develop products rapidly meant there was a risk tech companies wouldn't โput enough effort into safetyโ.
Professor Hinton said "my guess is in between five and 20 years from now there's a probability of half that we'll have to confront the problem of AI trying to take over".
This would lead to an โextinction-level threatโ for humans because we could have โcreated a form of intelligence that is just better than biological intelligenceโฆ That's very worrying for usโ.
AI could โevolveโ, he said, โto get the motivation to make more of itselfโ and could autonomously โdevelop a sub-goal of getting controlโ.
He said there was already evidence of large language models - a type of AI algorithm used to generate text - choosing to be deceptive.
He said recent applications of AI to generate thousands of military targets were the โthin end of the wedgeโ.
โWhat I'm most concerned about is when these can autonomously make the decision to kill people," he said.
Professor Hinton said something similar to the Geneva Conventions - the international treaties that establish legal standards for humanitarian treatment in war - may be needed to regulate the military use of AI.
"But I don't think that's going to happen until after very nasty things have happened,โ he added.
Asked if the West was in a Manhattan Project-style race - referring to nuclear weapons research during World War Two - with autocracies such as Russia and China on the military use of AI, Professor Hinton replied: โ[Russian President Vladimir] Putin said some years ago that whoever controls AI controls the world. So I imagine they're working very hard.
"Fortunately, the West is probably well ahead of them in research. We're probably still slightly ahead of China. But China's putting more resources in. And so in terms of military uses I think there's going to be a raceโ.
He said a better solution would be a prohibition on military uses of AI.

"Maybe this is their strategy. Add in a main character for a game thatโs really controversial and that way itโll distract from the fact youโre trying to get people to spend $130 for the f**king game.โ

European founders lose their bearings when they expand to the US and hire their first few employees, typically salespeople.
"These people are gods," is how one founder told me he felt early in the expansion process.
This isnt drama or dramatic but who can't appreciate the absolute state of europeans?
