A 40 year old Woman finding an attractive man the same age as her to date however is very difficult because( if he is conventionally attractive himself) he simply has a very different standing on the sexual market place than she does. While it is also very easy for her to date younger at this age it is generally only with the intention of causal s*x. Most 30 year old guys are not looking to settle down with a 40 year old Woman regardless of how much they might enjoy sleeping with her. The issue I am facing lately is the literal parade of frickery I deal with. I hate being treated like I am only 3 holes. It wears on me to be so dehumanized. I didn't say it was the norm. Most men in their 40's are of course not attractive enough to be bagging themselves women in their 20's or 30's. Correct. The term is "bioavailability." Heme iron (found in meat) has a significantly higher bioavailability so is more readily absorbed.

I’ve looked into iron bioavailability a lot recently, and it’s mind boggling how many factors affect it. Like adding a small amount (~50g) of meat to a meal makes all the non-heme iron more absorbable, too. Also, polyphenols tend to block iron absorption, but a SMALL amount of polyphenols in a meal actually INCREASE absorption. That’s just the tip of the iceberg.
