EFFORTPOST :marseyflagsouthafrica: South African Racist Shampoo :marseypaperbag::marseywindmill: Drama during COVID lockdowns.

Greetings Dramatards! :marseybean:

It's been stage 6 Loadshedding this fricking week, so I've been very unproductive at work, cuz we've had between 4-6 fricking hours of no power each day. I literally sometimes just sit at the office like a baboon waiting for the power to come on. Our glorious Free State communist leaders were very wise when they used up all our Power Station coal reserves so that they could party uninterrupted during Easter Weekend, now we have to make up for the short fall with a much higher than average power-cutting cuz we used up our Province's allotted coal rations, I'm literally not joking. Luckily, our Capybara :marseycapy: overlord coded a much superior site than Preddit, and the Create Post feature saves all your shit before posting, so i can take forever to vomit out wordsoup, and search articles. Typing on my phone is a pain in my butt.

Today I wanna talk about the infamous Clicks Racist Shampoo ad of 2020. Clicks is a Pharmacy chain in South Africa, and filled a niche pretty quickly after public healthcare pharmacies went to the gutter pretty quick once the ANC had their tendrils all over it. Clicks is a pretty good store chain and I get all my glue for sniffing from them. Back in September 2020, the draconian Lockdowns were slowly lifting, after thoroughly destroying the South African economy, and obliterating industry sectors like Restaurant business, in spite of proof that COVID was not even remotely as deadly as advertised, especially against south africans, compared to geriatric 99 year old crippled Italian geezers.

https://gdc.unicef.org/resource/coronavirus-africa-five-reasons-why-covid-19-has-been-less-deadly-elsewhere

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-53998374

https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19-in-africa-why-is-the-death-rate-so-low-12236347

It's a story for another Longpost, but so many people were surprised at the fact that South Africans were effectively almost immune compared to their European peers, especially against places like Italy where ambulances had to ferry mountains of bodybags from Rome to cremate en masse - during the 1st 2 months of COVID's explosive spread across the globe. Meanwhile south africans in shanty towns were were licking doorknobs and parting in Shabeen clubs and ignoring State lockdown warnings left and right, and ...... not dying like flies? Why Styven Why

I'll tell you the open secret, basically the healthcare and sanitary conditions of places like Europe are so high that people live much longer lives that they would have, had they been born in places like South Africa were the environment is much more harsh, we are practically near zero good public healthcare, and basically drink raw unfiltered swage like REAL MEN. Basically the wheat had already been seperated from the chaff, and natural selection had already run its course. So when COVID came, most people whom were like 60+ old were those whom had the most robust immune systems on a national scale. Meanwhile places like Italy, with one of the highest elderly populations on Earth, and with a fragile population that has basically been kept alive solely through obescene healthcare, fell over like sandcastles the moment a more deadly than average virus ravaged their ranks. In summary: Euros weak πŸ‘Ž , Africa Stronk! πŸ’ͺ

Anyways uhm, so in August 2020, the last of many of the harshest lockdowns were being lifted after 6 months, and it became apparent that the very poor South Africa would desperately need to reactive all of its economic sectors so as not to completely collapse. Many businesses were desperate, even big chains like CLicks, so had started to shit out heaploads of funky quirky ads to lock in lots of peeps as quickly as possible to recuperate their customer base to pre-COVOD levels. So they hired wingnuts to create ads.

And oh boiii, did we get an explosive front row seat to national drama when a galaxy brain :marseybigbrain: intern thought it a good idea to create an ad featuring Black woman's hair as being the before Image of those weight loss Verimark swindler crap, and Hwite woman as the after perfected image result!

Very soon many black South African moral busybodies, including the ever infamous EFF and Julias Malema, were protesting & trashing Clicks' shops nationwide. The lockdown had been long, and peeps had energy they needed to expend. The biggest r-sluration was that the stupidity involved here was that Black protestors were destroying Clicks shops, but that the ad wasn't actually MADE by clicks! It was another private company from overseas who created the shampoo, Clicks only housed the brand in their shop lmoa. A bunch of shops got destroyed or firebombed :marseyflamewar::marseyflamewar::marseyflamewar:

https://www.unilever.co.za/news/press-releases/2020/tresemme-south-africa-apology-on-recent-images-published-on-clicks-website/

Of course the TRESemme shampoo company apologized like cucks and pulled the specific brand of offending shampoo, and was we'll make it up to you guys, we'll donate 10k p*ssy pads, plz buy our junk :marseybeanpleading:

A bunch of libtards were crying crocodile tears about how terrible this intention DEGRADATION OF BLACK WOMAN's dignity :soycry::soycry::soycry::soyjakhipster::soyjakhipster::soyjakhipster:

https://i.rdrama.net/images/16813787115267677.webp

Our old friend Juju Malema would insert himself into the controversy and add fuel to the fire before Clicks corporate heads could even respond, and started shouting about how this systemic racism wouldn't stand by validating destroying Clicks' shops, again ins spite of the fricking fact that Clicks were NOT responsible for making the ad.

No matter how much non r-slur journolasts tried to set the record straight, black peeps were :marseyraging::marseyrage::marseyrage::marseyrage: and nothing could contain their indignity! The protestors demanded the Clicks chain shut down their shops for at least 5 days so that they would lose revenue. The other 90% of Clicks stores not being trashed ignored them because they were pharmacies for people who needed medecine. Watch the video - the stupidity is astonishing.

Some U-tube indignity by the r-slurred commenters of the above video.

EFFORTPOST Please Don't Study English - How To Completely Ruin Your Life

My name @sneedman, but I have also existed within the dramaverse as @acebarbieboy. I'd like to come clean today, explain how I utterly fricked up my life, and give a cautionary tale to any even vaguely thinking of walking in my footsteps. My life is so destroyed at this point that the only solution is suicide.

:marseyangel:

THE GENESIS OF A DREAMER

As a child, I've always loved literature and reading. It's something that hasn't changed much, and I still voraciously read. When it was time for me to enter university, I did what everyone told me the smart choice was - study computer science. But I was also studying English at the time and I loved it.

I ended up majoring in English and dropping computer science. I didn't know it then, but this was the beginning of the end. I studied with passion, and had my postgraduate studies funded through scholarships. After getting my Masters, I started my PhD.

It was at this point that I paid attention to the fact that I'd need a job afterwards. No problem, I'll just become a lecturer! So the job applications began :)

https://i.rdrama.net/images/16882400581233091.webp

MENTAL ILLNESS

I should reveal at this point that I've struggled with anxiety and depression my whole life. I've been on and off antidepressants and I've got fricking degenerate self-harming coping methods. They come and go, and during the worst times, I can get very absurd ideas about life and reality.

Sometime in 2022, I had one of those moments. In response, I cut off all contact with everyone I knew online, moved cities in real life, and resigned myself to a life of complete isolation. I was not done with my Ph.D. yet, but I was in my final year (I thought), and I no longer needed to be at the university in person. I had a job too. It didn't pay much, but it was enough for me to support myself.

The plan? Save up money for about a decade, then retreat to a life of isolation in the woods after establishing a homestead that is fully self-sufficient.

https://i.rdrama.net/images/16882400578261707.webp

ASEXUALITY AND INCELDOM

I am very ugly, extremely dark, short (5 foot 2), and socially awkward. During my time studying English, I learned about gender theory, feminism, and queer theory. It was wonderful to learn about asexuality. The label fit me perfectly, and for years I wore it without question.

It was only this year, after some distance from university, that I discovered the bitter truth - I am not asexual. I am a very lonely incel. Unfortunately, there is no escape from inceldom from this position. No woman in the universe wants anything to do with a 5'2 mentally ill poor black man.

https://i.rdrama.net/images/16882400575876417.webp

AFTER DISASTER

After my "live in the woods" delusions wore off, I realised I'm looking at a life of the following: no wife, no children, no family, no love, no intimacy. The darn asexuality meme snatched my 20s away from me. I also have no friends and I live in a city where I know nobody. This is what I wanted, right?

https://i.rdrama.net/images/16882400575403073.webp

PLEASE DO NOT STUDY ENGLISH

Here's the thing - lecturer jobs don't exist anymore. Less than 10% of PhDs will get academic positions, and the rates of tenureship are even lower. Even if you're a stellar student, the odds of you actually making it into academia are so low, you might as well aspire to be a celebrity. If you have mental illness, are a brainlet, are incapable of networking, then you're REKT.

During my year of insanity, I produced no academic articles. I also fricked off my supervisor and made no contact to build any academic relationships. The result? Countless job applications to academics positions to no avail. To be clear, the jobs themselves do not exist, and when they do exist, I am facing competition as stiff as a boner.

Here's the zinger - my fricking PhD thesis got rejected and now I have to spend an additional year on it. Of course, I have to pay for this additional year because I no longer have funding so now I am paying for a qualification I know will not serve me at all.

https://i.rdrama.net/images/16882400573372374.webp

WHAT DO YOU GET IF YOU STUDY ENGLISH

You will not become a lecturer. You will not become a famous writer.

You will be pushed to your limits emotionally to earn a useless qualification. If anything happens to you during your post-graduate year - let's say a family member dies, you fall ill - it's over. You'll fall behind in publications and YOU'LL NEVER CATCH UP.

You will be exposed to ideologies that will turn you into a firehouse of "social justice" and you will alienate people in your life with your self-righteousness. It will warp your self-identity, and you will struggle to develop normal relationships with women. You will be forced to write and say deeply racist things.

You will be poor. You will be depressed. You will regret it severely. Nobody gives a shit about your English PhD. You offer no value to the world.

I fricked up so badly. I was literally studying computer science. Had just one fricking year left. And I decided to switch to English. Now I'm a poor, lonely, shameful incel with no hope in life or reason to live. I'm so ashamed of the squandered opportunities I had, the sacrifices my parents made just for me to become absolutely nothing in this world. I can't show my face and I know what the next step is. I'm afraid of it - nothingness is so horrible - it but I can't bear life any longer either.

It's beyond over. The only choice now is whether to pick the rope or overdosing via trepeline.

EFFORTPOST My favorite dramatic moments from r/illnessfakers

General info:

/r/illnessfakers (IF) follows "subjects" (almost exclusively young women, there are a few older ones, currently no men) who are suspected of faking illness and having Munchausen's. They are referred to as "munchies".

The sub is heavily moderated, with it's 2 most important rules being

1. All posts / comments must be on topic (about illness faking, no random things)

2. No blogging (talking about yourself or your diseases/ conditions)

The heavy handed modding of the sub, combined with how annoying their mods are, has resulted in several very dramatic moments. Here are some of my favorites.

Notable meta dramas

ASH IS NO LONGER AN APPROVED SUBJECT, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

The main mod of illnessfakers determined that there was too much BEC (b-word eating crackers) content about Ashley Carnduff. Ashley's real issue is Crohn's disease (which she does have). Her made up complaints are Chronic Lyme acquired from a spider bite, other Lyme associated bacteria, and others. She is thought to be lying about having hEDS and POTS. She also went on an arc of being really obsessed with her period.

From the OP:

Hey, everyone. We are removing Ash as a subject, effective immediately. The content being posted is 99% irrelevant to her medical narrative, and the pure hate and bullying that goes on in threads about her is unacceptable and intolerable. The vibe on this sub needs to shift, fam. We are running the risk of losing this sub from all the cruelty happening here. EVERY other sub has been banned and if we go hardcore snarky like other places, we're next. PLEASE, stop with the body shaming, fat shaming, slut shaming, critiquing someone's posing, critiquing someone's eyebrows, and stop posting BEC content that has zero relevance in a subreddit that is dedicated to discussing behavior consistent with MBI and related medical deception.

This post has 1,000 comments. There are some people who don't care, and many who get very mad. IMO this had less to do with the actual content being disallowed, and more to do with the fact that everybody hates the mods.

Shutting down posting about Ashley lead to the creation of several private subreddits and a larger public one /r/Ashleycarnduff which is pretty active and contains even more drama.

There are some mentions of this incident on kiwifarms Munchausen's by Internet thread as well here

The mods later change their minds and issue this follow up post.

FOLLOW-UP DISCUSSION RE: Pausing Ash Thread; TOS Concerns; Update & Highlights. THANK YOU to everyone who contributed over the past 3 days! I've put together some highlights and responses based on feedback and discussion with you all...please come continue discussing with us here!

Here the main mod apologizes and announces they are reverting the rule after many days of deliberation. People are happy, but the damage is done, and many users appear to leave the sub after this.

This also led to the creation of /r/IFModsExposed, a sub only for pooping on IF mods, and where posting or commenting got an instant perma-ban from IF. That sub was banned by Reddit pretty quickly.

Posts locked

For several months, IF had all posts and comments on manual approval, despite only having 1 active mod for a sub of 150K. After the manual removal was lifted, mods started locking all posts related to one specific person - Dani Marina.

Dani Marina is an almost 40 year old woman who until recently lived with her parents. She had anorexia when she was younger, and shortly after started seeking attention and medical procedures for GI issues. She recently admitted she actually has been diagnosed with Munchausen's, and has admitted to intentionally injuring herself in the past (by doing things like breaking her bones with baseball bats).

Like before, the crackdown from IF mods leads to the creation of a new specific sub /r/DaniMarina. This sub has also had many of it's own dramas, which would be another post.

It is important to note that these subs focused on only one person are way more unhinged.

POLL: Should we allow a RECOVERED FD Patient to do a Q&A Here?

The main mod (again) suggests an AMA from a recovered Factitious Disorder patient

Hey all,

Over the course of this sub's history, questions like this have come up a few times, but this is an unique circumstance and I think this particular issue should be put to the community for a vote. Historically, our policy has been not to allow any sort of Q&A with people who admit having FD/MBI or who are 'trying to stop' because it is giving attention to them and that feeds the issue. We have, however, heard from someone who is now recovered and they have offered to share about their experiences, so I agreed to put it to you all for a vote.

People in this thread basically scold the mod for this terrible idea, and the mods backtrack again.

Let me know if I should make another post! This is only a portion of the total drama.

Edit: I almost forgot one of the best things to come from the Ashley Carnduff drama - this literal manifesto about the IF mods.

And semi-relevant to recent events, from a post linked in the manifesto, is mod work real work? (Deleted account is mod /u/CatAteRoger 's old account)

EFFORTPOST :marseysailor: Das Tuub | Titanic R-sluration

I just found out about this submarine like an hour ago. I feel really bad for the people trapped inside, especially the kid, but they kinda deserve it for even getting on this thing. Everyone's laughing at the CEO for his dumbass DEI policies, but this is just surface level stuff (lol). No one's actually explained the depths of how r-slurred this guy and his company are, so I thought I'd take some time out of my actual engineering job while I'm sitting in a boring butt zoom meeting to properly call this guy a fricking r-slur, so you can all find this just as funny as I do. I thought you all might appreciate it a little more than just some sporadic tweets about the DEI shit he did. This is going to be like a Challenger-style breakdown and what exactly went wrong so you can appreciate this frick-up.

There's gonna be a lot of naval puns in this so bear with me here. A lot of this is coming from my friend, also an engineer, who's done more research into this than I have.

In the Boatginning

https://i.rdrama.net/images/16873693238826516.webp

Dramatards, I'd like to introduce you to Stockton Rush. Owner of the the most startup founder-ish name in history, this guy has been making janky submarines his entire life. He got his start in the aerospace industry, as a test engineer on the F-15 with McDonnell-Douglass. Anyone familiar with the industry will note that experience with McDonnell-Douglass is not necessarily a good thing on your resume.

https://www.businessinsider.in/international/news/maker-of-the-lost-titanic-sub-once-told-a-reporter-that-at-some-point-safety-is-just-pure-waste/amp_articleshow/101143398.cms

He's made a career out of building submarines that are cheaper and more accessible to the general population, and his company, OceanGate, has had a few successful designs. What's notable about his history, however, is that he's made them cheaper largely by bypassing safety standards. His first submarine that they operated was called Antipodes, was a refit sub built by a different company. Originally intended for research purposes, they used it instead for tourist dives.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/05/Cyclops_1_Submersible.jpg/330px-Cyclops_1_Submersible.jpg

The first actual submarine they built was the Cyclops 1, a carbon-fiber (we'll come back to this part) submarine controlled using a PlayStation controller, with an operational depth of 500m. The submarine is deployed/recovered from some weird floating drydock concept, which crucially allows them to not use human rated cranes to recover the submarine.

After seeing some moderate success, he's gone and built the submarine in question, the Titan, which is built from a composite carbon-fiber and titanium. They bought the hull from a company called Spencer Composites, who intended it to be SINGLE USE. The submarine was built to a factor-of-safety (multiple of how much of the expected load you can withstand before it breaks) of 2.25 (which is frick-all, especially for a submarine - should be at least 6, probably more like 10). . A lot of journ*lists who went on board the thing noted that most of the parts on the interior were sourced from local hardware stores, as were the ballast tanks. They were not, as you could imagine, comfortable about being on board once they realized this.

DEI-ing At Sea

https://twitter.com/CatchUpFeed/status/1671372796876984320?s=20

This guy's team is a bunch of young, impressionable diversity hires. He's explicitly avoided anyone with experience because they are old and white and men. They're not very inspirational, and so they don't have a place on Rush's team.

Anyone who has worked on an engineering project before knows that any engineer with less than 2 years of practical experience is a massive drain on the project and need to be babysat constantly, ESPECIALLY if they might kill someone. They're usually worth investing in because they'll give you a great return in the long run, but boy are those first couple of years hard.

I didn’t hire experienced people because I’m a racist

oh no my boat sank, how could this have possibly happened

:#marseypikachu2:

This is going to go a long way to explain why what happened did happen, so buckle up.

Frick-up #1: Carboat-Fiber

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/4/44/Kohlenstofffasermatte.jpg/330px-Kohlenstofffasermatte.jpg

Let's talk materials for a second. Carbon-fiber is what's called a composite material, because it's made from a couple of different types of material. You have the carbon fibers themselves, which are really resistant to being stretched in-plane (like pulling apart a sheet of paper), but have very little strength out of plane (like poking a hole in paper) or off-axis (they're woven into almost a cloth, if you pull at a 60 degree angle to that weave, they lose 80% of their strength).

Carbon fibers are usually set in place with solidified plastics, like epoxy. It solves a lot of problems as far as directional strength goes, but you still need to be careful with it. In a specific configuration, it has similar material properties to a common aerospace aluminium alloy (T-6061), while being a fraction of the weight. Great for airplanes and race cars, where mass is a factor.

Steel is the best material, and the only reason you use anything else is either because you don't want it to rust, or because you can't use steel. It's cheap, strong, and (crucially) it can be stressed over and over again without building up stress fractures. If you keep it under a certain limit, it will never break. NO OTHER MATERIAL DOES THIS.

This makes ideal for something that you're going to put under pressure, and then remove it from that pressure, over and over and over again, in a scenario where weight isn't a factor. Like, say, a submarine.

https://i.rdrama.net/images/16873693244748619.webp

Stockton Rush, however, is way too cool for steel :marseysmug3:. He has instead decided to build his submarine out of the super cool airplane material, without understanding why its there in the first place. Composite materials are generally vulnerable to snapping if they're loaded repeatedly, which is why the company that built this refused to endorse it after finding out it was going to be used like it was.

It's never been used on submarines before, and with really good reason. It's not just not an optimal choice, it's literally the worst one possible. From the Business Insider article:

The Titan sub was never checked to see if it was up to standard because of its "innovation," OceanGate said in 2019. The sub features a carbon fiber hull that had never been used on submersibles before, according to the "Unsung Science" podcast.

:#marseypain:

Rush managed to bypass safety standards yet again by using completely different materials and then claiming that the standards aren't relevant. They make you sign a massive waiver when you sign up. No one has actually checked if this thing is safe. There's no standard it's being held to, there's no regulation, no third-party review. No matter how good you are, you can always frick up. Their cavalier attitude towards safety has now probably killed the CEO and four other people.

From their blog:

Maintaining high-level operational safety requires constant, committed effort and a focused corporate culture – two things that OceanGate takes very seriously and that are not assessed during classification.

But it's ok, because they have a corporate culture of safety.

Frick-up #2: Electronixed

So this is an interesting note that I found is that the submarine has no onboard navigational system,. Yes, you read that correctly. They operate it by having a different ship monitor its position, and then send it text messages telling it where it is.

Journ*list David Pogue, who rode in Titan to view the Titanic in 2022, noted that Titan was not equipped with an emergency locator beacon; during his expedition, the surface support vessel lost track of the Titan "for about five hours, and adding such a beacon was discussed. They could still send short texts to the sub, but did not know where it was. It was quiet and very tense, and they shut off the ship's internet to keep us from tweeting."

:#marseyspit:

These people are all going to die

That's part of the reason they can't find it, is because the submarine doesn't know where it is, and can't tell anyone even if it did. It even failed before, and they still didn't fix it. That's not just stupid, it's criminally negligent.

The controls of this thing consist of a single button, and is piloted by a PlayStation controller. I'll point out that the idea of using a gamepad as a submarine helm control is not necessarily a bad one, and was actually implemented by USN submariners to great success. It's intuitive to zoomer helmsmen, really easy to teach, and was actually a way better control scheme than what they were using before. That being said, USN submarines are extremely well designed, very redundant, and extremely well-built. This stupid thing has none of that.

Because of the lack of navigation and emergency beacon, these people are very likely going to die, and it's going to be very unpleasant. It's really hard to find submarines even when they want to be found, and there's still no means of even rescuing these people even if they're found. They've got anti-submarine-warfare aircraft searching and everything, but still nothing.

Frick-up #3: Oxy-Constants

I can't think of a good pun for this. There's no real good source on this that I've seen because it's kind of an obscure problem, but they also fricked up the gas lines on the ship.

When maintaining an atmosphere for people to breathe, you have to be pretty careful with the gas composition. You need gas cyclers to remove CO2 buildup, and replace it with oxygen. Nitrogen doesn't need to be replaced because it's not consumed. This is standard on airplanes, submarines, spacecraft, anything sealed. Failure to do this was infamously the cause of the Apollo 1 disaster, where a pure, high-pressure oxygen atmosphere caused a dramatic fire when some nylon started to overheat.

Can you guess what OceanGate have done?

:marsey#agree:

That's right, they've been injecting pure oxygen into the cabin, with untested electronics on board.

Jesus Christ, guys. You get so many startup CEOs bitching about safety standards, and every now and then when they push the limits, we all get a very public reminder of why they're there in the first place. And it usually costs the lives of people who were tricked into getting onto that stupid butt vehicle in the first place.

EFFORTPOST Why I don't believe female dog bite victims

I'll admit it - I don't like dogs. They're dangerous, loud, dirty, and they have no place in residential areas. Nevertheless, it is evident that many members of society, particularly women, are exceptionally fond of these creatures. The perception that woman love dogs disproportionately isn't imagined, and it's worth noting that it's a new trend. Many millennial women have opted to have dogs over children, and sometimes even husbands!

>72% of childless millennial women explicitly state that they prefer the company of their pet over the company of children.

>69% of millennial women who have chosen not to become a mother say that having a pet is easier than having a child.

>70% of the women who have chosen not to have children view their dog or cat as their child.

This is all good news for dogs. They're being invited into some of the most affluent homes in the world, and they are being pampered beyond belief. All that money that would have went to paying for a child's tuition, clothes, and other essentials is now spent caring for a canine.

>Sixty percent of pet owners are female, 75% have a household net worth greater than $220,000, and 77% are 50 years of age or older

With this information in mind, you would expect to see women have great relationships with dogs, and for dogs to appreciate their time with women. That is not what we're seeing. Instead, we are witnessing an increasing number of dog attacks on women specifically.

>In general, men are more likely to be bitten and delivery workers are a common victim. Dog attacks on middle-aged women are increasing the fastest

What could possibly explain this trend? Well, I have a theory. It is a drastic one, but I believe I have sufficient evidence to prove it. Warning, it does contain rather vile elements, but these are aspects of reality we cannot ignore. Please, feel free to debunk me where you find flaws, but I am certain there are few.

What causes dogs to bite?

So why do dogs bite? Well, a few reasons. Let's start with the least violent reasons. Dogs use their teeth to manipulate objects in the environment. This is typically known as a "soft bite" and it may be used to pick up a pup, for example. The soft bite is also used by hunters to retrieve fowl.

Some dogs have been bred to have a strong bite instinct to use when herding. This is especially useful when dealing with stubborn breeds of cattle that don't respond to the usual intimidation tactics from dogs. These small bites are known as "nips", and sometimes dogs will "nip" children in an attempt to hard them.

Dogs also bite as a form of communication. You see, dogs don't have words, but they do have barks and growls. Biting can be an extension of that. If a growl doesn't deter an unwanted threat, a bite is meant to get the job done.

Lastly, dogs bite to destroy. Like us, dogs can be angry, vengeful, and scared. In such situations, they may seek to destroy whatever is causing them upset. To do this, they maul. It is actually very rare for dogs to maul. Firstly, many dogs don't have the mauling instinct. They simply bite and release. Secondly, when dogs attack, they are typically scared. They don't want to spend more time near you than necessary. Mauling puts them close to their attacker, which is dangerous. Lastly, dogs are typically naive regarding humans, as we have bred them that way. There is very little benefit to biting a humans for a dog, unless they are defending themselves. This is not to say that dogs never bite for no reason. Of course not. However, they almost never maul for no reason.

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE PITBULL?

Quite frankly, I don't consider pitbulls to be domesticated dogs. They're feral animals. There's nothing domesticated about a pitbull. For normal dogs, mauling for no reason is exceptionally rare (usually such instances are due to old dogs suffering from dementia).

So what's my theory? It is simple: Many cases of dog bites involving women are instances of self defence. The dogs weren't attacking. They were defending themselves from women. I will take things a step further, and I know this is where I will lose most of you. The dogs are typically defending themselves from sexual assault or rap. No, I'm not joking in the slightest. I'm aware of the seriousness of my statements. I express them publicly because of the conclusions I have drawn.

A Case Study

Jacqueline Durand was a 22 year old girl who loved dogs, was in the University of Texas, had a boyfriend, and would dog walk in her free time. She was hired to walk the dogs of Dr Bishop and his wife Ashley. It was two dogs, one a German Shepherd and the other a Boxer (according to some reports it was a Boxer and Pitbull mix, though this hasn't been confirmed). What's important to note here is that Jacqueline had met the dogs prior, and even she admits they were sweet and showed no signs of aggression.

On 21 December 2022, she arrived at the house where she was to meet the dogs. According to Jacqueline, as soon as she opened the door, it triggered the alarm, causing the dogs to attack her for over an hour. During the attack, she sustained over a hundred bits and lost love 30% of her blood. She was terribly disfigured, and she will be facing for the next two years, as she stated in an interview earlier this year.

There are a few points I'd like to highlight. If they attacked her at the door, why was the main location of the mauling at the beds of the dogs? So did they drag her from the door to the living room because they wanted somewhere private and secluded to ensue the mauling? I struggle to understand why dogs would want to drag someone into the home. Dogs are territorial. If anything, they'd be trying to get her out of the house.

Secondly, she was found completely naked. COMPLETELY. You can see a snippet of the bodycam footage here, but be warned that it is extremely graphic.

How do dogs take off clothes? They haven't any hands. Are we supposed to believe that dogs took off her clothes? Everything, including bra and panties?! Here's my big question: for the facial reconstruction surgery, they took skin from her buttocks. How did the dogs take off her underwear without ripping the skin off her buttocks as well? So they were vicious enough to rip off her underwear but delicate enough to leave the skin of her buttocks intact to the point where it could be used for grafting. Bullshit. Yes, it should be clear what I am implying - she entered the house of her own according, found the dogs alone as she was anticipating, and proceeded to remove her own clothing.

These dogs were in the home of a doctor, who lived with a child, and none of them had ever been victimized by the dogs. Why did they then, out of the blue, decide to chew on a human being for the next hour? Something triggered them. I put it to you that these dogs were provoked, and you know how.

Since then, she has tried to press charges on the Bishop family. The only evidence that the dogs showed any kind of aggression prior was a sign warning visitors not to press the doorbell or else it'll get the dogs going. Nothing at all abnormal about dogs reacting to the doorbell. Plenty of dogs go nuts when the doorbell rings, including friendly dogs anticipating visitors.

The clothing is the most darning piece of evidence for me. The second most darning evidence is the fact that Jacqueline still loves dogs. She still owns dogs (large ones of course), and she wants to work with dogs. This isn't a normal love of dogs. There is something else going on here, a deep attraction to these beasts that goes beyond anything rational. I will not overlook the fact that one of the worst dog attack victims in recent memory still can't keep her hands off dogs. That's not quirky, that's paraphilia.

Conclusion

Think about how many dogs have been put down following a dog attack. Oftentimes, we don't know what happened and the only people around to give an account are the victims and any potential survivors. Do you think we know the whole story? So many cases of mothers home with children who claim the dog suddenly snapped and ate the kids. We've been so quick to assume that the animals were acting wild. Never have we asked whether the dogs were the victims.

Self-defence is not a crime, especially against unwanted sexual contact. Next time you hear about a woman who was alone and suddenly got attacked by dogs, think twice.
